Crow Horwath Maldives has been appointed as the official auditors of the South Asian Travel Awards 2017 (SATA).
The regional travel and tourism awards show organized by High Rise will be held in October this year.
While 414 nominations from South Asia has been made for the 39 categories in SATA, the professional evaluation of the nominations will begin on 15 August by a panel of experts from the different sectors of the industry.
Crowe Horwath will be overseeing the evaluation and is set an issue an audit report at the end.
The first SATA held last year was at Sri Lanka's popular Mount Lavinia Hotel. Last year, Maldives won the most awards with a total of 18. Maldives also won five of the even Visitor's Choice Awards.
