Sun TV Plus launched

Sun TV Plus, part of Sun Media Group, has commenced its services today.

Sun TV Plus is available via cable on Medianet Channel 104.

Chairman of Sun Media Group Ahmed Siyam Mohamed, in relation to the launching of Sun TV Plus, advised Sun Media employees to work towards further expansion of Sun Media services.

He urged employees to uphold the principles of Islam, as well as to persistently prioritize the interest of the nation, peace and order in society, and national solidarity in their work.

He expressed hope that Sun Media will continue to be a fair media source which relays honest information.

Siyam thanked the employees of Sun Media for their efforts to develop and improve Sun Media.

CEO of Sun Media Group Sinaan Ali said that even though the service begins via cable, it will soon be expanded to reach all corners of the Maldives via satellite.

He noted that right now, Sun TV Plus will mostly show programs of Sun FM.

Chief Editor of Sun Online Ahmed Zahir (Hiriga) said that efforts will be made to ensure that the news programs and reports broadcasted on Sun TV Plus are as responsible as those published on Sun Online.

He assured that Sun Media News Team will play a leading role in relaying information via all media under the Sun umbrella.
