World Travel Awards Special set for Saturday in Vilu Reef

The Indian Ocean Gala Ceremony 2017 of the World Travel Awards have been set to be held at Sun Aqua Vilu Reef in Maldives.

On 8 July, Saturday, Sun Aqua Vilu Reef will host the event with cultural dances and performances from local singer, Unoosha. The event will be hosted by the season 2 hosts of Maldivian Idol, Moosa Waseem and Lamha Latheef.

While the Indian Ocean Gala Ceremony 2017 is set to be held in the Maldives, a number of Maldivian resorts have been nominated for awards in the categories such as the Leading Honeymoon Destination, Leading Dive Destination and Leading Cruise Destination.

A number of wins are expected for Maldivian resorts similar to the past years.
