The parts of the eastern side of the capital, Malé City is being affected by sea swells.
The swells are affecting the Alimas Carnival area and the former Tuscaloosa area. They are the usual affecting areas for sea swells in the city.
While sand and water has come on to the road along with the swells south of the Henveiru Artificial Beach towards Tuscaloosa, the carnival area is completely flooded.

The flood at the carnival area has reached the driving test area and the water continue to spread.
