Gas canister fire at expat residence cause massive damages

A fire started on a gas canister has caused massive damage at the expatriate residence of Maafanu Gul'hazaaruge in Malé City.

By the time the fire was controlled by the Fire and Rescue team of the MNDF, the fire had caused massive damage to the property.

And so while the ceiling had burned down, the windows visible to the street were also completely burned.

It is unclear whether anyone was injured in the fire as authorities continue their investigation.
