US citizen John Charles Seyfert – detained by Maldives Immigration as an illegal immigrant – has been deported from Maldives for 10 years.
Information officer at Maldives Immigration, Hassan Khaleel reported Seyfert was deported last Monday night after the US Embassy produced his travel documents.
