Majlis approves appointing Zahid to HRCM

People’s Majlis has approved appointing former Vice President of Human Rights Commission of the Maldives (HRCM), Mohamed Zahid to the vacant HRCM seat.

People’s Majlis gave its approval during the voting which took place during this Tuesday’s Majlis sitting.

57 MPs voted in approval of appointing Zahid to the commission, while 5 MPs voted against it and 5 MPs present abstained from voting.
