Man arrested from Feeali with large quantity of narcotics

Authorities have arrested a man from F. Feeali with a large quantity of narcotics.

The 39-year-old man was arrested on Tuesday, June 6, from a ferry which docked at Feeali, based on an intelligence report.

Police reported they found 65 rubber packets of suspected narcotics on his person and near his seat on the ferry.

The case is under investigation by F. Nilandhoo Police Station.

The suspect has been remanded to 10 days in police custody by Nilandhoo Court.
