Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has ordered the Ministry of Islamic Affairs to re-evaluate the proposals filed by the companies to accommodate the Hajj Pilgrimage.
A statement issued by the ACC today said that they noted suspicions indicating biased evaluation of the Hajj proposals.
In the evaluation of the proposals, the Ministry used a different standard as opposed to the one given at the free-bid meeting according to the ACC.
The ACC said that they do not believe that the proposals were given on equal grounds.
And the information on the bid booklet proves that six of the companies were disqualified outside the means.
ACC has ordered that employees of the Ministry do not be included in the re-evaluation committee.
And ordered the Ministry to hold the re-evaluation as per the information given on the free-bid meeting.
