State Electric Company (STELCO) has said that they would be performing a test of the newly 8.9 megawatt generator tomorrow.
The new 8.9 megawatt generator acquired under free aid from ADB began service on Sunday.
While the test of the generator has been set between 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. tomorrow, STELCO said that some areas of Malé City may lose electricity for a short time.
STELCO currently uses 27 generators to produce 72 megawatt of electricity to power the capital city.
