Maldives Marine Expo 2017 launched

The fourth edition of marine industry expo in the country, Maldives Marine Expo 2017 has been launched.

The annual expo of the Liveaboard Association of Maldives will be held in September this year.

Maldive Marine Expo 2017 was launched at a special ceremony held onboard the luxury safari Ritrella this evening by the Tourism Minister, Moosa Zameer. A number of officials from the Liveaboard Association took part at the launching ceremony.

The Marine Expo is notably the biggest marine expo being held in the Maldives, in the largest area. Although last year’s expo was held at the Hulhumalé Marina Bay, the expo will be held at Dharubaaruge this year.

While over 3000 people visited the exhibition last year, the last day of the exhibition was opened to the public where 1000 people visited on that last day alone.
