President returns from Saudi Arabia

President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has returned back to Maldives upon conclusion of his official visit to Saudi Arabia to attend the Arab Islamic American Summit.

President Yameen returned back to Male’ City this Tuesday morning.

The Arab Islamic American Summit was held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on May 21.

In addition to attending the Arab Islamic American Summit, President Yameen also attended the inauguration of the Global Center for Combating Extremist Ideology, and visited the Maldivian Embassy in Saudi Arabia.

He was accompanied on the visit by Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Mohamed Asim, Minister of Fisheries and Agriculture, Dr. Mohamed Shainee, and Minister of State at President’s Office, Mohamed Naseer.
