Police look for fraudster who conned money from cashier

Police have asked for assistance from the general public for identification and location of a man suspected of conning money from a cashier at a Color Bank outlet.

The case is under investigation by General Investigation Department of the police.

Police have released a two minute and 22 second video footage taken from a security camera placed inside the Color Bank outlet.

The suspected fraudster is seen talking to someone on the phone and handing the phone over to the cashier working at the Color Bank outlet.

The cashier hands the phone back to the suspect and is seen taking cash out of the drawer. Both the suspect and the cashier are seen conversing over the phone.

The cashier then hands over money to the suspect and he is seen hurrying out of the outlet.

Police have appealed to anyone with information regarding the identity and location of the suspect to call the police hotline number 3321111 or the General Investigation Department phone number 9631696 and share the information.
