Lily International to introduce 3 more franchises to Maldives

Lily International - a subsidiary of Lily Group involved in food and beverage – has announced plans to introduce three more franchise brands to the country.

Managing Director of Lily International, Amir Mansoor reported to “Sun” that the company already runs four franchise restaurant businesses in Male’ City; international franchises Marry Brown and Secret Recipe, and own franchises Pizza Mia and Lily Café.

Lily Café used to be run inside the Alimas Carnival area in Male’ City, and the company is currently working on reopening the café elsewhere.

Meanwhile, its Marry Brown, Secret Recipe and Pizza Mia outlets are wildly popular in the city.

Amir said Lily International was negotiating to open three more franchise businesses in the country.

“A place which will serve great coffee is coming soon to Hulhumale’ and Male’. There’s also a bread product – that too to Hulhumale’ and Male’. We are also bringing a barbecue-concept franchise. So altogether three businesses will be introduced soon,” said Amir.

He said that the demand for its existing businesses remained steady. And that the restaurants enjoyed huge sales with no advertisement cost.

Lily International is one of the country’s largest food and beverage businesses.

It is the wholesale distributor of Nestle products as well as 30 other international brands.
