Maldivian model and medical student, Raudha Athif’s body has been put to rest in Bangladesh after autopsy.
20-year-old Raudha was found dead in her dorm room at Islami Bank Medical College in Rajshahi, Bangladesh on Wednesday, March 29.
Assistant Commissioner of Police of Motihar Thana Police Station of Rajshahi Metropolitan Police, Sushanta Chandra Roy reported to “Sun” Raudha’s body was buried at Hatem Khan Graveyard in Rajshahi this Saturday.
This has also been confirmed by Raudha’s brother, Rayyan Athif.
Rayyan said the family was unhappy with the investigation into Raudha’s death.
Raudha was found hanging from the ceiling fan in her dorm room by a group of her friends when they looked in through her window after she didn’t come out of her room Wednesday morning.
The family believes her death is a homicide, and covered up to seem like a suicide.
An autopsy was done of Raudha’s body at the Rajshahi Medical College Hospital last Friday.
Assistant Commissioner of Police, Roy reported he will share results of the autopsy with “Sun” sometime this Saturday.
Raudha rose to fame as a model from the photo by Shifaz Shammoon (Sotti) titled “Maldivian Girl with Aqua Blue Eyes”.
She later featured in the cover of October, 2016 issue of Vogue India.
