A Maldivian man has been arrested from Indian city of Bangalore for possession and distribution of narcotics.
Narcotics Control Bureau of India reports the arrest of a 35-year-old Maldivian man and a 30-year-old Nigerian man.
The Maldivian man has been identified by Indian police as Anil Ahmed.
The two men were arrested from a house in Bangalore with 48 grams of hashish oil, 430 grams of marijuana, three grams of methamphetamines, and five bullets of LSD.
The police suspect both the men supply narcotics to drug dealers in Bangalore.
The Maldivian man, Anil Ahmed was reportedly identified by Indian authorities as attempting to import hashish into the country from Kempegowda International Airport in November, 2016, but evaded capture.
Anil, and the Nigerian man are being kept in jail.
