Adheeb transferred to Dhoonidhoo Prison

Former Vice President and Minister of Tourism, Ahmed Adheeb Abdul Gafoor has been transferred from Maafushi Prison to Dhoonidhoo Prison.

The transfer has been confirmed by the police media official, but no details regarding the transfer has been released.

Maldives Correctional Service has been unavailable for comment regarding the decision.

Adheeb is serving three prison sentences totaling 33 years. He faces more time and is in the middle of two more trials.
