Major food supplier in the Maldives, United Food Suppliers, has joined the annual F&B Show.
Operating in the Maldives since 2007, United Food Suppliers is the first company to acquire Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) status among the resort food suppliers in the country. HACCP is a systematic preventive approach to food safety from biological, chemical, and physical hazards in production processes that can cause the finished product to be unsafe, and designs measurements to reduce these risks to a safe level.
United Food Suppliers is a company that mostly imports temperature controlled foods.
Although the company started with the import of meats including beef and chicken, the company has expanded to the import and distribution of fresh fruits, vegetables and seafood. The company has been expanding their portfolio by entering other markets as well.
At the F&B Show organized by High Rise for May 2017, Untied Food Suppliers would be showcasing three main brands they import according to the company. They are Emmi Swiss dairy products, fruits and vegetables of Crops brand and poultry products from the Doux brand from France.
The second exhibition of the F&B Show started by High Rise last year will be held at the National Art Gallery from 18-20 May 2017.
Event organizer High Rise estimates 30 companies from the F&B industry in Maldives to take part in the exhibition.
Co-sponsors of the F&B Show are Lotus Shop and Ondhigo Maldives.
