Fishing boat with 12 onboard goes missing

Maldives National Defense Force has started searching for a fishing boat with 12 people onboard which has gone missing.

MNDF reports the boat is the 87-foot “Blue Fish 1”.

The tophouse of the boat is painted white and the rest is painted blue.

MNDF said the boat was reported missing at 5:55 pm on Friday, February 24.

The boat was last contacted last Monday, February 20 while it was just outside K. Dhiffushi.
