Fatal traffic collision in Laamu Link Road

A man has died in a fatal traffic collision today at the Laamu Atoll Link Road.

Confirming the collision to Sun Media, the Police Media Official said that two motorcycles near the Maandhoo bend around 5:45 p.m. today.

The official said that the 27-year-old man involved in the collision was dead when he was brought to the hospital following the collision.

Director of the Laamu Gan Regional Hospital, Abdul Hannan Abdul Raheem told Sun Media that another injured in the collision was brought to the hospital.

No further details on the injuries are available at this time as the second victim is being treated at ER in critical condition.
