New PPM Office opened

The new office of the Progressive Party of Maldives (PPM) has been opened with special designs from the President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom.

The new office at Henveiru Hurafa was opened by the President Yameen himself.

Speaking at the opening ceremony tonight, the Vice President of PPM, Abdul-Raheem Abdulla said that the new PPM Office with a new design is the best office of a political party in the country.

PPM said that the new office would be handling all party operations in the future.

At special ceremony tonight where cabinet ministers and MPs were in attendance, the President of the party, Maumoon Abdul Gayoom, was not in attendance.

After the change of structure within the party following internal conflict, PPM has been running out Dharubaaruge and the old office has been established as the Office of the President of PPM.
