Veteran TV presenter Heena Waleed – who recently resigned from her position in Public Service Media (PSM) – has been appointed to a political position in Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Heena has been appointed Political Director of Ministry of Foreign Affairs by President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom.
“Sun” has been informed she assumed her new position in Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Sunday, February 5.
Heena resigned from her position as Deputy News Head of PSM over the weekend after 17 years of service in the media field.
