Hotel Asia Culinary Challenge coming back to Male’

Hotel Asia International will be holding its Culinary Challenge in Male’ City again, this year.

The Culinary Challenge will be held from September 17 to September 20 at Dharubaaruge.

Chefs will be competing in 20 categories:

• Fruit and vegetable carving

• Novelty cake

• Plated dishes

• Desserts (display)

• Hot cooking fish fillet

• Hot cooking beef

• Hot cooking seafood

• Hot cooking paltry

• Hot cooking lamb

• Desserts

• Hot pasta appetizer

• Creative Asian dish

• Cold pasta salad

• Team challenge

• Maldivian dish

• The perfect steak and omelet

• Young chef

• Tea challenge

The awards are:

• Individual Class Winners Award

• Most Outstanding Chef

• Most Outstanding Pastry Chef

• Top Maldivian Chef

• Best Culinary Establishment – Alan Palmer Challenge Trophy

• Judges’ Special Award

More than 450 chefs from across the world competed in the Hotel Asia Culinary Challenge held in Male’ City in 2016.
