Coastguard rescue 3 men lost at sea

Coastguard rescued three men lost at sea during a fishing trip on a dinghy near K. Enboodhoo Finolhu.

The authority reports the men were rescued on Saturday night using the night vison camera on the MNDF fast inspection craft.

MNDF Maritime Rescue Coordination Center received report of the incident at 9:50 pm.

Coastguard reports a team of the Male’ Area Coastguard Squadron was immediately dispatched to find and rescue the men.

The three men got lost after they dove into the water to catch fish.

They were found by the Coastguard on top their capsized dinghy.

Two of the three men are local, and the other was a foreigner.
