Maldives Hajj Corporation has launched its online portal in an effort to increase convenience and increase service availability throughout the country.
Hajj Corporation’s online portal “Faheli” was launched by Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dr. Ahmed Ziyad Bagir in a function held this Wednesday morning in the Islamic Center’s seminar hall.
Through the online portal, users will be able to register with Hajj Corporation and make payments online, view account details, receive information on umrah trips and make online payments for umrah trips in installments.
People will also be able to make online payments for ageega and sacrificial lambs.
Online payments can be made through both Maldives Islamic Bank and Bank of Maldives.
Managing Director of Hajj Corporation, Yameen Idhrees provided assurances over the security of online payments and the quality of services provided by the corporation.
He said the corporation will continue to increase customer convenience.
Yameen said that hajj and umrah pilgrimage had previously been a hardship, and that Maldives Hajj Corporation had eased the burden and increased the quality of the experience since the corporation was established.
