Kinbidhoo man ordered to repay debt to MP Abdulla Riyaz

Civil Court has ordered a man from Th. Kinbidhoo to repay a loan given to him by former Commissioner of Police, Kinbidhoo MP Abdulla Riyaz.

MP Abdulla Riyaz sued Hussain Shareef from Nooraaneege in Th. Kinbidhoo claiming he owed the lawmaker MVR 130,500.

Civil Court issued its ruling on January 15, stating MVR 15,000 from the loan had been repaid to MP Abdulla Riyaz, with MVR 115,500 still remaining unpaid.

Court ordered Hussain Shareef to repay the amount in installments of no less than MVR 5,000 each month, starting from this January.
