Starbucks, Pizza Hut, KFC coming to Velana Airport

Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL) has indicated a number of top franchise food outlets will be opened at Velana International Airport soon.

In a press conference, Managing Director of MACL, Adil Moosa said that a building will be developed towards the jetty in front of the domestic terminal, which will house multiple international food franchises.

Adil said that about five top franchises had experienced interest in opening outlets at the airport.

He said that MACL was holding discussions with top franchise brands such as Starbucks, Pizza Hut, Dominos, McDonald’s, Hard Rock, and Dunkin Donuts.

Adil said MACL will be providing opportunity for franchises to officially pitch their proposals soon.
