Man sustains extensive facial injuries in Maradhoo-Feydhoo accident

A man sustained extensive facial injuries in a roadside accident which took place in Maradhoo-Feydhoo, Addu City last Saturday night.

Police said that the accident was reported to the authority at 9:25 pm.

An eyewitness reported to “Sun” that the accident involved two motorcycles.

One of the motorcycles was being driven by a married couple and crashed into the other motorcycle just as they rode in from another street.

The woman sustained injuries while the man did not.

The man riding the other motorcycle sustained extensive facial injuries.

The eyewitness reported that the man was bleeding from his nose and mouth, and that his face was unrecognizable.

Two other roadside accidents took place in Addu City last Saturday – one of which took place in Hithadhoo and has left a 46-year-old man in critical condition.

The other accident took place in Meedhoo was a 7-year-old was hit by a motorcycle.

The child did not sustain any serious injuries.
