The two suspects arrested in connection with the stabbing in A. Dh. Dhangethi which left two migrant workers injured have been remanded to seven days in jail.
The stabbing took place in the early hours of Saturday, and left two migrant workers injured; a 30-year-old man and a 50-year old man – both Bangladeshi nationals.
Two Maldivians – a 27-year-old man and a 17-year-old boy have been arrested in connection with the case.
Police reported that A. Dh. Dhidhdhoo Magistrate Court has granted 7-day remand periods for the suspects.
The two Bangladeshi men are under treatment at Dhangethi Health Center; the 30-year-old man with stab wounds on his cheeks and shoulders, and the 50-year-old man with stab wounds on his head and hands.
The case is under investigation by police.
