Musical drill to celebrate Victory Day

A series of musical military drills have been held to celebrate the Maldivian Victory Day.

A number of children and adults of the public gathered for the MNDF display of the drills held at the Republic Square today. A photo session was also held following the musical drill display.

While the drill was conducted at the capital, Malé City, it would be performed tomorrow at the Hulhumalé Central Park before the display at Vili-malé on Saturday according to MNDF.

The musical drill display in Hullhumalé and Vili-malé are set to begin at 5 p.m.

Victory Day celebrations this year also include a charity run by the name “Victory Run” which would begin from Kalhuthukkalaa Koshi military base at 6 a.m.

The run is being held to celebrate the victory of the Maldivian army and display the unity along with creating national spirit among the troops.
