Students sit last exams, academic year to end on Nov 17

Students across the country are sitting for the first paper of the second-term exams this Sunday, which will be the last exams for them before the end of academic year 2016.

Ministry of Education reported that the second-term exam, which began this Sunday, October 30, will continue until November 10.

The exams come after 99 days of study during the second term.

Schools are scheduled to close on November 17, marking the end of academic year 2016.

Students will get to enjoy a 50-day holiday before academic year 2017 begins on January 8.
