Ooredoo takes Yauqoob to meet Messi

Talented Argentinian and Barcelona football star, Lionel Messi is someone close to the hearts millions, including the die-hard football fans living in Maldives.

Once more, telecom company, Ooredoo has taken one lucky Maldivian to Barcelona, Spain, to meet the football star – who happens to be the brand ambassador for Ooredoo.

The lucky Maldivian chosen for the honor this year is Abdulla Yauqoob, who can now boast having met with the international superstar, and having taken a “selfie” with him.

Yauqoob met with Messi on Friday, after which he said “it’s a dream come true for me to meet the best football player in the world.”

Yauqoob was selected, along with other customers of Ooredoo from across the world, to meet Messi as part of Ooredoo’s “Stand for Good” campaign.
