Dangerous collision near Presidential Jetty, 3 injured

A dangerous road-side collision took place near Presidential Jetty in Male’, at midnight, Friday, resulting in injuries to three people.

Eye witnesses reported that the accident took place at approximately 12:50 pm, when two motorcycles collided.

Two of the victims were left unconscious and taken to Indhira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) on a taxi, and the third victim was taken to IGMH by police in one of their vehicles.

Neither police nor IGMH are available for comment regarding the accident at the moment.
