Judge Hassan Saeed retracts lawsuit against JSC

Chief Judge of Family Court, Hassan Saeed has retracted the lawsuit against Judicial Services Commission (JSC) over his suspension.

JSC had cited that it suspended Judge Hassan Saeed in accordance with Article 38 (d) of Judges Act as the investigative committee looked into a complaint it had received against him.

Civil Court announced that Judge Hassan Saeed had informed the court in a letter sent on October 5 that he no longer wanted to pursue the case at the moment.

Civil Court said that it had cancelled the lawsuit form submitted to court.

Judge Hassan Saeed was suspended and put under investigation due to comments made during a meeting with the senior management of Family Court.

Judge Hassan Saeed had allegedly called the High Court judges the most corrupt judges in the world, and said that they carried out their corrupt dealings under the cover of a huge tree.
