CSC and NCIT discuss improving e-government system

Civil Service Commission (CSC) has held discussions with National Center for Information Technology (NCIT) on improving the e-government system.

The discussions, held last Sunday, centered on solving issues with the e-government portal currently in use and making it more useful.

CSC said that increasing efficiency of government offices and lowering costs was also discussed during the meeting.

The commission said that one more meeting would be held within this week to continue the discussions.

The discussions were attended by members of the CSC – led by its President Dr. Aly Shameem as well as senior staff from both CSC and NCIT.
