Five injured in gang violence in Addu City

Five people have been injured in an act of gang violence in Hithadhoo, Addu City.

Police said that the people who were injured in the incident tonight around 10:45 p.m. has been taken to Addu Regional Hospital for treatment.

Sources say that the people injured in the violence are not seriously injured.

While one of the people injured tonight sustained an attack on his back with a sharp object, two of them sustained wounds from a sharp object on their arms. And one person was sustained head trauma.

A Police Media Official said that they are searching for the people responsible for the attack.
