One of Hulhumale’ accident victims released after treatment

Indhira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) has reported that one of the victims who were brought in after an accident in Hulhumale’ last Friday has been released after treatment.

Two young Maldivian men – aged 19 years and 20 years – were injured in a collision which took place between a truck and a motorcycle near the STO Hotel which is under construction.

Media official of IGMH, Zeenath Ali Habeeb spoke to “Sun” this Sunday and said that the 20-year-old had been released from hospital after treatment, but that the 19-year-old was still receiving treatment.

IGMH has not released any details regarding the injuries to the two men.

Hulhumale’ Hospital, which initially saw the victims after the accident, had stated earlier that one of the men had suffered injuries to his head.
