Maldivian and US successfully completes military exercise

Fusion Metal 1-16 training program conducted by the Maldivian Army and the US Navy has been completed successfully.

The training program conducted to increase the military capabilities of the Maldivian army accustom to defense tactics was held at the MNDF Central Area HQ at Laamu Kahdhoo.

A number of MNDF personnel took part in the training program that began on 28 August conducted by trainers from the US Navy.

The Commader of the MNDF Coastguard, Colonel Mohamed Ibrahim was the honorary chief guest at the closing ceremony held in Kahdhoo.
