Former MP Ilyas summoned to Police, phone confiscated

Former MP for the Hulhumeedhoo constituency, Ilyas Labeeb has been summoned to the Police and had his phone confiscated in relation to an ongoing investigation.

Police Media Official confirmed to Sun Media that the former MP was summoned to be questioned in relation to an ongoing investigation.

The MDP member was summoned to the Police Station today around 5:40 p.m. and has now been released.

Ilyas is also a member of the MDP’s National Council.
