The sixth Sri Lanka Education Fair in the Maldives has been opened today showcasing the education opportunities in Sri Lanka.
International and local universities are taking part in the two-day fair being held at the National Art Gallery. The fair will be open from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m.
A total of 16 colleges of Sri Lanka offering higher education are taking part in the fair with the fields of studying ranging from Finance, Accounting, to Information Technology and higher education in Business.
The Sri Lanka Education Fair was opened this evening by the MP for Nilandhoo constituency, Dr. Abdulla Khaleel.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Dr. Khaleel said that the fair opened tonight would provide a number of good education opportunities for the youth. He advised the youth by saying that such exhibitions are very few in the country so they the opportunities must be embraced.
Dr. Khaleel said that the Sri Lanka Education Fair also represents the close relations between the two countries. The MP also noted that Sri Lanka is a country that provides a number of assistance to the Maldives.
The Sri Lanka Education Fair is hosted by the Sri Lankan High Commission in Maldives and the Sri Lankan Export Development Board.
