76 plots of land to be sold from Hulhumale II

Housing Development Corporation (HDC) has announced that 76 plots of land will made available for sale from Hulhumale Development Project II.

In a press conference held by HDC on Tuesday, it was announced that the sizes of the 76 plots of land are between 1,000 – 1,800 square feet, and that bidding would be opened in September.

The plots of land are from Neighborhood I of Hulhumale II.

The 38 plots of land are beach-front, and the other 38 are beach side.

Bidding will start at MVR 3,000 per square foot.

Managing Director of HDC, Mohamed Simon said that any Maldivian above the age of 18-years can send in bid proposals.

Bid winners have two payment options – making the full payment within two weeks, or making the payment through a third party within a three-month period.

An acquisition fee of five percent of the total value of the plot of land will be taken.

The official announcement for the sale of the plots of land will be made on September 18.
