Ooredoo launches sale of Galaxy Note 7 in Maldives

Telecommunications company Ooredoo has launched the sale of Samsung Galaxy Note 7 in Maldives with a special promotion.

The telecom company said that the new Samsung smartphone were now available from their shops, with a 128 GB SD memory card gifted with each purchase of the phone from their Ooredoo Experience Center.

The promotion includes 12 GB data and free minutes for a year with the purchase of a prepaid plan along with the phone.

A 64 GB Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is available for MVR 12,899.

Installment payment options include:

• MVR 890 monthly installments for 12 months

• MVR 1,200 monthly installments for 6 months

The installment payment options apply for customers who purchases Ooredoo postpaid packages higher that MVR 399.

Those who use Galaxy Note 7 will be able to unlock their phones with the iris scanner integrated into the phone. Samsung claims that it is far safer than fingerprint technology – used by Apple.

The water resistant phone has a 4 GB RAM, a 12-megapixel camera, and Snapdragon 820 processor.

It has an internal storage capacity of 65 GBs, with the option to use SD cards.
