Online voting for SATA 2016 begins

Online voting for South Asian Travel Awards 2016 has begun this Saturday.

SATA was set up to provide the tourism sector of South Asian region with the recognition it deserves in terms of its facilities and service excellence.

SATA 2016 is being organized by Maldivian event management company – High Rise.

Awards will be handed out from 10 segments, falling into 39 categories.

Over 200 parties have been nominated for this year’s awards – with Maldivian tourism businesses nominated in eight out of the nice Visitor’s Choice Categories, and over 140

Maldivian businesses nominated in 30 Self-Nominated Categories.

Leading Live-aboard Brand, Leading Live-aboard, Leading Dive Hotel/Resort, Leading Eco Resort/Hotel, and Leading Surf Hotel/Resort categories are dominated solely my Maldivian businesses.

SATA 2016 will be held in association with Colombo Chamber of Commerce (CCC).

Additional partners include Association of Travel Agents (ATA) Maldives, Liveaboard Association of Maldives (LAM), and Confederation of Associated Tour Operators of India.

Online voting we available from SATA website until 11:59 pm of October 5.
