MNU opens PhD opportunities

Maldives National University (MNU) has opened the opportunity to earn PhDs in Education and Arts through faculties of the university.

MNU opened two PhD seats at the Faculty of Arts and six PhD seats at the Faculty of Education. The deadline for the application is 27 October 2016.

Faculty of Education opened their six PhD seats in seven major fields. They are:

• Education Planning

• Education Leadership

• Education Policy

• Instructional Design

• Curriculum Design

• Pedagogy

• E-Learning

The two PhD seats opened at the Faculty of Arts is in eight major categories. They are:

• Bilingualism

• Bilingualism in Modern Society

• Language Policy

• Textual Analysis of Language

• Verbal Analysis of Language

• Multimodal Text Analysis

• Mother Language and it’s Development in Children

The duration of the courses opened by MNU is three-years. The standard qualification for all courses is MQA7 certificate level.

The price of the PhD courses has not yet been announced by the MNU.
