The Destination Maldives Guide 2017 has been launched tonight at Hotel Jen.
At a special ceremony held tonight, the guide was launched by the Deputy Minister at the Tourism Ministry, Hussain Liraar.
The layout, design and content management for the annual Destination Maldives Guide, which was started in 2002 by the Ministry of Tourism and the Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC), was done this year Feel Investment.
A mobile application by the name of Feel Destination was also launched at the ceremony tonight. It was launched by the Acting Managing Director of the MMPREC, Haaris Mohamed.
Speaking at the ceremony tonight, Deputy Minister Hussain Liraar said that tourism industry is linked to the people of Maldives and every ripple in the industry affects the economy of the country and the lives of the people.
Destination Maldives Guide is a magazine targeted to tourists and other foreigners that contains information regarding the Maldives.
The magazine is published in ten languages including German, French, Italian, Russian, Turkish and Japanese.
