PMM requests cases at the disciplinary committee be looked into

PPM Office has made a request at their disciplinary committee to look into the cases submitted at the committee after a long delay of pending cases against party members.

The cases at the disciplinary committee are agaisnt the Leader of the PPM Parliamentary Group, Ahmed Nihan Hussian Manik, Vice President of PPM and MP for Fonadhoo constituency, Abdul Raheem Abdulla, MP for Kelaa constituency, Ali Arif, MP for Naifaru constituency, Ahmed Shiyam and MP for Hulhudhoo constituency, Mohamed Shaahid.

None of the cases have been looked into so far. Regarding the issue, the letter sent to the Committee says that under Article 13-D of the Disciplinary Committee regulations, a decision has to be made on the cases submitted to the Committee within a week.

The letter said that it has been numerous days with no decision and requested that the cases be looked into and said that the delay in the process is raising complaints from the members of the party.

And so the letter requested that the cases be completed within 15 days.
