Telecom giant Dhiraagu has introduced the latest model in Samsung’s Note series, Samsung Galaxy Note 7 to the Maldives tonight.
With the launching tonight by Dhiraagu, Maldives has become the second country in the world to have the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 introduced.
The latest tablet model from Samsung with the Iris Scanner and a Curved Display was first showcased three days ago in New York at Samsung Unpacked event.
It is now available in the Maldives for MVR 12,999 if the payment is being made in a single payment and it can also be pre-ordered on installment for MVR 849 per month. The initial payment in the installment plan is MVR 2,999.
Pre-order offer is currently available for Dhiraagu Post-Paid customers only with a minimum usage of 12 months. The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 from Dhiraagu comes with the special VR (Virtual Reality) gear for the phone.
Dhiraagu said that pre-orders are opened from tonight.
The Iris Scanner technology on Note 7 can be used to unlock the phone. Samsung says that scanning the Iris to unlock the phone is a more safe security feature than fingerprint scans.
The water proof Note 7 comes with 4 GB RAM and a 12 Megapixel camera complete with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor.
Unlike Note 5, SD cards can be mounted on the new Samsung Galaxy Note 7. And the tablet comes with an internal storage of 64 GB. Note 7 also comes with a 3500 mAh battery extending the battery life significantly compared to Note 5.
