Baree officially Chief Judge of Criminal Court, Abdulla – Chief Judge of Civil Court

The two acting chief judges of Criminal Court and Civil Court have been officially appointed to the post.

This means that Judge Abdul Baree Yoofuf is now officially the Chief Judge of Criminal Court, and Judge Abdulla Ali – officially the Chief Judge of Civil Court.

Director of Judicial Service Commission (JSC), Hassan Zaheen spoke to “Sun” on Thursday and confirmed the decision.

Zaheen said that the decision to offer the two judges the position permanently had been made with the vote of all eight members present during the JSC meeting held on Wednesday.
