Fire breaks out at a house in Henveiru

A fire has broken out on the second floor of Henveiru Filmy Site.

Information Officer of MNDF, Major Adnaan Mohamed told Sun Media that a major fire incident took place at a house behind the Senhahiyaa Hospital but the fire has been controlled. The fire was controlled around 5:15 p.m.

Sun Online journalist at the scene, Ahmed Saail said that smoke is still rising from the house but there are no signs of a fire. He said that the smoke is rising from what appears to be a kitchen space and the MNDF personnel along with the Police are active in the area.

The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Police.
