Home Minister advises Customs staff to remain strong in their duties

Home Minister, Ahmed Zuhoor has said that he understand the hardship and challenges of the work done by the Maldives Customs Service and advised the Customs employees to remain strong in their duties.

The Minister gave the advice today while speaking at the flag raising ceremony held at the Customs Building today to commemorate 126 years of service.

Noting that Customs is one of the oldest institutes in the country, Home Minister Zuhoor, who has worked as the Commissioner General of Customs, said that Customs is an institute that tirelessly fulfills an important work for the nation.

Minister Zuhoor sent the greetings of the day to the Commissioner General of Customs, Ibrahim Shareef Mohamed and all the employees of the Customs and their families.

While a flag raising ceremony was held at every Customs branch across the country today, a special prayer was also made at the ceremony.
